As part of our mission to stop the cycle of pet overpopulation and reduce the number of unwanted animals, Green County Humane Society hosts Spay & Neuter Clinics several times each year. At each of these clinics, volunteer veterinarians from UW Veterinary School spay and neuter approximately 30 cats from the community.
While the veterinary time is donated, GCHS does charge $40 for spay surgeries and $35 for neuter surgeries to cover the cost of anesthesia, medications, and supplies. Due to the limited amount of space, these clinics currently are only open to Green County residents.
You may register for the Spay & Neuter Clinic on April 20, 2019 by calling the shelter at (608) 325-9600. Spaces fill up very fast, but we will place you on a waiting list for future clinics if we cannot get your cat booked in April.
